New Dentist

The MSDA New Dentist Committee (NDC) works to connect recent graduates, younger dentists and anyone who has recently joined the dental profession. It is a dynamic group that provides great opportunities for networking and innovation in dental practice.

The mission of the NDC is to help new dentists make a successful transition to practice, to encourage membership and volunteer involvement in organized dentistry, to provide resources to meet new dentists’ needs, to serve as advocates for the new dentist perspective within organized dentistry and to work to ensure a positive future for the profession through leadership and professional ethics.

Residency Program

If you are enrolled in a residency program, you may be eligible to join the tripartite for $0 dues. This means that your ADA, MSDA and district/local society membership is complimentary while you are enrolled in your Maryland residency program. You will be eligible for the dues reductions of the Graduated Dues Structure when you complete your residency program.

Mentor circle program

 

The MSDA's New Dentist Committee has started a new mentorship initiative,

the Mentor Circle!

The goal of the Mentor Circle program is to facilitate group mentorship, networking and encourage the participation of new dentists in MSDA programming and leadership. We created this initiative to give ASDA and MSDA members the option to receive mentorship in a group setting, similar to a mastermind circle. For those that wish to have one on one mentorship, no worries! Individualized mentorship will be supported as well.
